Ways of Seeing is a project that aims to give insight into these often subtle and untold stories.
When These Mountains Speak is an inter-cultural project which shares diverse stories of farming families who live in the valleys and mountains of the Central Coast, NSW
The Central Coast is a community built on cultural diversity. The human connection that exists between locals and visitors to the beautiful region is further enriched by the cultural heritage of many of the local and diverse business owners. This series reflects and shares stories of those businesses between the valleys and mountains from the perspective of established and first generation farmers. These are the untold stories where human determination and care for the land take place.

The Hinterland of Central Coast, NSW spans across the valleys and mountains. These regions have supported diverse farming families where traditional land management principles meet new and progressive processes. One repetitive and constant theme which has presented itself throughout these diverse stories is respect and a deep connection to the land. The everchanging landscape is something which is being supported by these farming families, including welcoming newly arrivals, with ideas to sustain and grow these communities.
